For the last ten hours Laurence had been overseeing the preparations for the night party. The invitations had been sent out to all of those who lived in the city. Everything of high value had been removed from sight, extra guards were stationed. Perfection was soon to come, only to be ruined by the common city folk. Pushing his long black hair back with his hand he thought about the evening wondering what would be the outcome of the night.

Tay dropped out of one of the few remaining shadows and looked around. "Wow! Look at all the pretty colors!" She exclaimed excitedly. "It's like...a rainbow!" She giggled, bouncing up and down. She had yet to receive her orders concerning the party, but it didn't matter. She would be undercover if she had too. Always ready. Watching. Everyone. Very closely.

Squal had heard of the King before and never really had a chance to actually meet him. Seeing as Archadia was a neighboring kingdom, Squal thought that he could work out some sort of an alliance with Taiyeus. He entered the room wearing one of his finest suits that was an orange red lined with a burnished gold. HE saw a man and a guard. He amused the man was the king seeing as he looked to be very high class.
Squal approached the king and bowed giving a formal greeting "Your Majesty, I don't believe we meet." Squal said "I am Squal Draklore, prince of Archadia."

Laurence ignored the girl who appeared out of the shadow. It bothered him that one of his guards would do that but he would let Blair deal with it.
Nodding curtly to Squal, "It is nice to get to meet a prince of another country." He said politely.

Aquilia walked in, and tripped five steps in. "Oww. . ." she mumbled, and quickly got up, slightly flustered, acting as though nothing had happened.

"You!" Tay screamed, pointing a finger at Squal. "You!" She threw the finger in the king's direction. "What are your names?" She asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Um... Squal Drakelore..." Squal repeated himself. Didn't I just say my name like two seconds ago? he thought.

"Are you sure? Good. And you, good sir?" Tay repeated, turning her full attention to the king for a brief moment. "And you! Declare yourself! You could be an assassin!" She foamed at the mouth (not literally XD) as she turned to Aquilia.

"That title would be mine." Tyranny replied evenly as she entered the court room. She kept her expression blank, conveying none of the excitement she felt at seeing her younger sister. Even if she was a bit thick witted.
(Here I am talking to myself because no one else posts enough XD)

"Ty!" Tay squealed in delight, running over to her sister, all suspects forgotten. "Look-it! I'm a guard now! I got to meet the Captain!" She ranted quickly, just about to explode.

"So I heard." Tyranny raised an eyebrow, her suspicions confirmed. "Go return that which you stole from your commanding officer. I taught you better, I should hope." She scolded.

"Yes Ma'am." Tay said sheepishly. She turned to the room and saluted the occupants. "At ease men!" She slipped into the shadows without farther ado.
(Oh what fun.)

Leonardo entered the room, with no hesitation. He hasn't been to any celebration for almost exactly a decade. And this was his first time seeing the room with so many different creatures alike. Near the door way, and by himself, he took a long stare at the scene. "This is definitely going to be a challenge," he thought, crossing his arms, "but I think I can handle." Leon's target was the King, who he was hunting a tall man, with fancy clothes, but he had not a clue how the people of Taiyeus expected to look. As you can tell, he was a bit nerveous to ask anyone where the King was, and if he asked that person, it could have been the King he asked. How embaressing. And for a woman, he was too shy. (aww) Instead, the poor Night Elf, had to sit, and try and guess who the King was, with someone answering "King". Of course, he can even make out whispers.
((how's that for a first post?))

Aquilia was utterly confuzled at the moment, and she didn't know if Tay still wanted to know her name, so she kept quiet.

Tyranny spared the elf a glance, but in that glance determined that he was of no significance to her. Her attention returned to the room. It was so dull, why had she sent the little one away? She was strictly forbidden to cause fun in the way she saw fit, so for the moment she choose to follow the Night Elf's lead and stand against the wall, hoping some idiot made this worth her time.
