Laurence was walking in the castle grounds when he saw Victor, thinking he was either lost or needed to see him he went over to him. He signaled the guards to allow him in, "Is there something I can help you with sir?" Laurence asked him trying to make a good impression.

Laurence sighed, "I'm assuming you mean 'looking'? And yes I am the king, is there something I can do for you?" He wasn't sure why this guy was here and wasn't going to give him any opportunity to attack him if that was the reason.

Laurence thought about it, another royal from another place and he's the last of it. Killing him would give him the extra land and power. Letting him live here would let him observe him and possibly get on good terms with him. "Why not? It's completely fine with me. In fact why don't you stay here in the castle? It would probably be nicer than other places here." He invited him, deciding to let him live.

"Fine by me..." Victor said. He could sense that this was clearly not the storybook "nice king". Then again, Victor killed his own father and brother.

Laurence smiled, he knew quite well that he could get political power if he had others from different kingdoms. Not knowing Victor's past, he didn't think he was in any true danger. "If you would like to join us, I'm having a celebration for all of the kingdom to attend, you are certainly welcome to come." Laurence adopted a caring voice trying to sound sincere in his invitation.
